Urban Kiz is a dance that originated in Paris in the 2010's. It is a contemporary and more urbanized version of Kizomba, that combines it's sensuality with other dance styles like Hip Hop, Tango, and Argentinian Kizomba.
Brazilian Zouk, or “Zouk” as it is more commonly known by some dancers, is a fun, dynamic and modern partner dance originating from Brazil.
Brazilian Zouk is most recognised for its mesmerising fluidity & flowing head movements and can be danced to a variety of musical genres including classical, pop, dubstep, hip hop, R&B and lyrical.
Since its origination in the 1990s, Brazilian Zouk’s popularity has spread across the globe like wildfire! And now, we’re here to help that spark in you grow into a burning passion.

JJ's Dance Fusion
Dance Instructor Joe has been teaching dance for 36 years and his claim to fame is his musicality. He believes strongly in the connection between music and movement in the body. He applies this to a variety of music genres and dance styles including Ballroom, Latin, County Wester, Swing, Zouk and Kizomba.
Joe's first dance experience began in the mid 80's break dancing. In his senior year of high school, Joe was introduced to ballroom dancing and soon after became a Ballroom Dance Instructor in 1988. Joe progressed to the highest degree by becoming trained in several national and worldwide dance syllabi and is certified in Bronze, Silver, Gold and Gold Star levels in American Smooth and Rhythm dances.
Joe has owned dance studios throughout the Southeast and is known in the area for his longevity and skill in the field, finally setting in Ormond Beach as founding owner of JJ's Dance Fusion.
Joe is a well-known and renowned choreographer, performer and instructor throughout the Southeast United States and is widely sought out for both his choreography, musicality and teaching ability to both beginner and advanced students.

Jen
Jennifer has many years of experience in dance, performance and theatre arts beginning in grade school with performance teams. She continued her performing arts career by working and performing with Walt Disney World Entertainment and has appeared in nationally televised Disney programs. She's traveled the U.S. for outreach events with the Walt Disney World company performing for children with disabilities and terminal illnesses; including for children's last wishes granted by the Give Kids the World program.
This led Jennifer into pursuing a career as a professional counselor, life coach and educator while also working her way into Walt Disney World Management. She's also worked as a Clinical Director, Program Developer, Event Coordinator and Educator for numerous organizations and the State of FL and currently is a Director managing a team of licensed professionals. Her hobbies have included athletics, teaching, coaching, spiritual study and alternative healing modalities.
In more recent years, Jennifer has renewed her love of music and movement by dancing with her local dance community and offers her professional experience by serving as a Board Member for the USA Dance Organization- Greater Daytona Chapter and as a partner of JJ's Dance Fusion Studio.
Jennifer is passionate about dancing and continues to pursue opportunities to further her dance technique and instructor education; and has developed an interest in world dances and dance history.
Jennifer is also trained in creative & improvisational dance and is currently pursuing a Dance Therapy certification in order to have more ways to spread the joy and healing benefits of dance to everyone.
